Father Eugene McCaffrey is a Carmelite priest and currently Prior of Tabor Carmelite Retreat House in Preston (www.tabor-preston.org). He has written extensively on spiritual topics and is widely known for his lectures and retreat work. He is the author of Introduction to the Writings of St Teresa of Avila, Heart of Love: Therese of Lisieux and Patterns of Prayer. In May 2008, he was invited to contribute at a symposium in Oxford with the Dalai Lama.
