Julienne McLean is a psychologist, Jungian analyst and spiritual director in North London. She has taught on several ordination courses and at Sarum College, Salisbury, as well as being on the clinical team at the St Marylebone Healing and Counselling Centre. For many years, she has been teaching, writing and running workshops on depth psychology and Carmelite Spirituality and co-leading these Spanish pilgrimage retreats with Peter Tyler. She is the author of Towards Mystical Union (St Paul’s 2003), which is a modern commentary on St Teresa’s classic text on contemplative prayer The Interior Castle.
