Peter Tyler is Senior Lecturer in Pastoral Theology at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham, and until recently was the Director of the MA in Christian Spirituality at Sarum College. He has a particular interest in the Spanish mystics St Teresa of Avila and St John of the Cross. His book The Way of Ecstasy was published by Canterbury Press in 1997. He is also an accredited psychotherapist.
