Pondering, Perceiving and Praying with Icons Today
Icons have been noted as “a way into heaven” and “image of the invisible.” Today they are used by many in a variety of prayer forms. We shall be learning about the meaning of icons, how they speak to us and ways in which we can enter into prayer with them. The day will consist of input, times for group and individual reflection and meditating with icons.
