Cecil Collins – Transformative Genius

Cecil Collins was a pioneer in the resurgence of the Visionary in Art and has been described as our most important metaphysical painter since William Blake. His central theme is the Great Happiness, the paradise we come from, for which we always yearn and which is restored to us through the creative imagination. Among the archetypal figures he portrays are the Angel, the Fool and the Vision of Dawn.

This illustrated slide lecture will reveal these themes and the central vision which Cecil Collins carried through - giving our society a clear meaningful creative direction.
